Mom and Dad are Here!

My parents came in on Friday to visit and we have been busy ever since! Friday night we had dinner, walked around for a while, and then went to check out their condo. The kids were so excited to see them (and for presents!) and of course, Grandpa and Grandma were excited to see their 3 grandchildren. Zek is their 7th grandchild and probably their last (unless Dave and Sue plan on having more!) It's fun having my mom and dad here again. Saturday and Sunday we took advantage of Oscar not having to work and went to the beach! On Saturday we went paddle boarding at Ala Moana (I think we are all sore) and then on Sunday we played on the beach at Waikiki and went out for dinner at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants! Today we just hung out at our house and then for a little shopping for a few needed things! Ki and Geni got bunk beds and Zek has a new stroller! I think tonight we will continue to hang out and eat some snackies!

Hi Gonzalez Family-
We came home from the North Shore today and did a search online for Waimea Bay Spinner Dolphins and somehow your blog came up???? The picture of your cute baby with the caption 'hola' caught our eye since my husband speaks spanish. As my husband and I looked at the blog (don't think we are stalkers) we realized how much your life has paralleled ours lately. Although, no new baby for us! We moved here in March from LA with our 3 kids so that my husband could take a job as a school director at HPU. We just wanted to drop you a line to say hi and invite you to check out our blog as well. www.hatchfong.blogspot.com
We think it would be fun to get together since we are all new to the island and probably all need to meet new people.
Aloha-

1 Peter 5:10-11

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
