U.S.S. Missouri

Earlier this month, our church had service on the U.S.S. Missouri. (This is the ship where the Japanese signed the peace agreement that ended WWII). It was really neat. We took a bus into Pearl Harbor and over to the ship and listened to our awesome pastor talk about perseverance and getting back up even when darts are thrown our way. After wards we were served lunch and were able to tour the ship for free. There is so much history there and the kids really liked looking at all the super sized missiles and guns. We definitely want to go back again and do the whole tour.

1 Peter 5:10-11

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
